Lance Armstrong is sitting down with Oprah Winfrey herself as I sit and type this. The interview will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) on Thursday at 9 p.m. EST. Until then, the questions fly. What will Oprah ask? What angle will Lance take? Why is he choosing an interview with the Oprah instead of a traditional press conference?
My gut feeling is that he will go for the “I’m the victim stance”. Especially since an admission of guilt at this point could land him in some serious hot water with pending lawsuits.
There’s also reports of him reaching out to make amends with people that he “threw under the bus” specifically, Floyd Landis. The man that started this whole debacle. Why? Only time will tell. Until then
