Day 1 – Oct. 29
The bike-in movie last year was fantastic! We rode from Reynolda Village to Hoots Roller Bar where we watched Army of Darkness, ate locally-made Brats, and drank great beers in Hoots’ green-space.
This year we expect to have that much fun plus some. We’ve partnered with a/perture cinema to bring you ET – the Extraterrestrial — a 1982 Steven Spielberg cult classic. In addition to them letting us use their theatre space, a/perture cinema will be donating the proceeds of ticket sales to help fund more BeersNGears programs. A round of applause, please.
We have SECCA to thank for the use of their parking lot as a meeting place! We will meet in the parking lot at 7 and roll out to a/perture at 7:15. Don’t forget lights for your bike and come early, admission to SECCA is free! After the movie, we will return to SECCA for a total of XX miles.
Everyone who does the Bike-In Movie ride will get a commemorative spoke card with artwork by Dumptruck Junior and a raffle ticket for the prize raffle on Saturday. Go to all three HalloWheels rides and get double entries!
Check out the HalloWheels 2015 blog for other great events! And don’t forget to share this with a friend!
