It's that time of the year again: the leaves are changing, temperatures are dropping, and there's pumpkin-everything right now. That also means it's getting close to HalloWheels time. 2020 will be the seventh year we've held HalloWheels, if you can believe it! Things are going to be a different than normal, but we still wanted to make sure everyone gets a little extra motivation to go digging for the cold-weather riding gear, get all the bike lights charged up, dress in funky costumes and go for an adventure. We've got a special COVID-edition plan for Winston-Salem's one and only bicycle festival.
We're trimming things down a bit this year to just 3 events over 3 days... AKA a "weekender" Everything will be self-led to keep group sizes down and comply with CDC distancing guidance. Sign up for the event and get your manifest the morning it starts (October 30), then do as much or as little as you would like over the weekend, and submit your results when you're done. Events are accessible for beginner riders and families with little kids but they can also be more rigorous and risky for those who like a challenge. You can "choose your own adventure" so to speak. Winners will be announced after all rides have been submitted (November 1) and given a goody bag. Don't miss out on the fun!!
This year has been crazy, we know, but you can rest assured HalloWheels is still happening, everyone is welcome, and it's going to be awesome.
