Did you know that BeersNGears started back in 2014 with the inaugural HalloWheels Bicycle Festival? I few of us wanted to organize some unique bike events that Winston Salem had never seen before. So over the course of just 2 months, we planned the first ever multi-day bicycle festival in Winston Salem. It consisted of 6 events over 4 days: a bike-in movie (like a drive-in but better), costume ride, race, cookout, alley cat, and a family-friendly community ride.

This year we're celebrating 10 years of HalloWheels and we've got a great lineup of activities to help you celebrate Halloween and the fall season. Starting on Sunday, October 29 with a haunted woods ride, then a special trick-or-treat edition of Ride Like a Fish on Monday, October 30 and finally, the infamous Spooky Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday, October 31. Everything is free and open to all riders. Plus there will be prizes. Get your bike and costume ready. See you for HalloWheels 2023!
