Annual Ride of Silence WS

Join members of your community and others across the globe for the 2024 Ride of Silence.

We will HONOR those who have been injured or killed while riding, RAISE AWARENESS that we are here, and ask that we all SHARE THE ROAD.

★ Group Ride BeersNGears and the National Cycling Center are hosting a slow, silent group ride. We'll gather at Bailey Park, on the upper level near the restrooms, starting at 6:30 and roll out at 7:00. The route is 7 miles long and there will be police escort. Please bring your friends and family!

★ Build awareness Please use social media to spread the word about your participation in this important event. Add #rideofsilencews and #rideofsilence2022 to your story, Go Live while riding, share photos, or post about your personal experiences riding. You can also log your ride on strava (segment will be created closer to the event). The goal is to honor those harmed while riding, raise awareness that people need to be able to safely ride their bicycle in Winston Salem, and ask our community to be courteous and follow the law when driving around bicyclists.
